This is the Peel templates library -- popular, helpful, & interesting analysis that you can install onto your account with the simple click of a button. This gives you easy access to pre-built Reports (aka Slices), Audiences, & Dashboards that provide unique insights into a variety of high-level questions.
We are launching with 25 different templates, and will be adding more every week!
Install any of our Dashboard templates to have them available to use and edit in your Dashboards section. You can then share them as a 'read-only' version or schedule them to be sent in email or Slack any day of the week. These are templates, so once you install them, you are free to edit them and add whatever you choose to make them fit exactly what you need. Think of it like Canva for Data Analysis :) .
Analysis templates, also know as "Slice" templates, are custom reports that answer really specific micro questions. Once you install them, they will all live under your Slice section in your Peel account. The custom reports can answer any question that you have about patterns across your customers, orders, revenue, etc. For example -- Distribution by Order Number answers the question, "Do people who are on order 2 or 3 buy different product than new customers, order 1?" Another report -- called Top Products by Audiences tells you what products people in each of the Audiences that you make in Peel tend to buy -- Do the customers in your "BFCM" Audience buy different product than your "Launch Day" Audience, or your "2 + Order," or "VIP Audience?"
We wrote about one of the templates a few weeks ago - Top Products by Order Number.
The list goes on and on. We are adding new analysis reports to the Slice template section every week!
Audiences are specific subsets of your customer base and the parameters for each Audience are specific to your brand, but there are some Audiences that might appeal and apply to all -- and thats where Audiences templates come in. For example -- here is a BFCM Audience (everyone who purchased on the sale days), or the Audience of people who received a gift -- different shipping address then billing address -- who are they? They are the ones we can assume received the product as a gift, so the brand can then communicate with them to try to convert them to customers. Another example is an Audience of everyone who subscribed on their first order vs. an Audience of everyone who subscribed on their 2nd order.
You can make as many Audiences as you want on your account, but if you need some inspiration - check out the Audiences templates. Once you install they will be located under your Audiences section.
We have been producing so many interesting analyses faster than we can talk about and promote, so the only way to easily share them out was to templatize them. You can browse the library, install, and take all of them for a spin.
Do reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or chat in if you have an analysis/dashboard/audience requests -- we welcome submissions! And do come back & check -- more analysis will be published soon.
