What is Cohort LTV - LTV Per Cohort?

LTV Per Cohort is a metric that tells you the lifetime profit of your monthly cohorts for your ecommerce site. This groups customers into cohorts based on the month in which they made their first purchase and shows you how much profit each of those cohorts brings in over their lifetime as your customer.

How to improve LTV Per Cohort

You can leverage LTV per cohort data to make targeted efforts to improve your customer’s path to purchase. For example, if you dig further into your LTV per cohort data and find patterns in their purchasing behavior – like repeat purchases of certain products or discount codes they responded to – and use that information to re-engage those cohorts and hyper-targeted audiences with the right content or offers at the right time.
